Today the ship arrived about noon at Isafjordur, Iceland which is located in a Fjord in the northwest part of Island. I and my friend Jim Howard left the ship on a tender for shore for a 3:15 tour called "Fjords and Flowers". We walked around town and got on the bus for the tour about 4 PM. After leaving town we went thru a 6 mile tunnel and on the other side we saw additional Fjords and sod of the Icelandic landscape. We stopped at Flateyn village where the church is located and listened to a traditional musical performance at a country Lutheran Church. We then had some coffee and cake at a Cafe and returned to the town. We got back to the ship at 7:30 PM.
