Today the ship arrived in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Slovakia is located in central Europe, and is bordered by the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Ukraine and Austria. It has a population of 5 million.
Bratislava is the capital of Slovakia and is an old town of cobblestone streets, candy-colored 18th-century rococo buildings, sidewalk cafes and pedestrian plazas that make for a welcoming and relaxing visit. It stands in contrast to the concrete city across the river.
At 8:30 AM I took a city tour of Bratislava. We got back before noon when the ship left Bratislava for Budapest.
At 7 PM was the Captain's Reception & Farewell dinner.
