We arrived this morning at about 6 AM. The ship was early again as the schedule was to arrive at 9 AM. At 9 AM I left on a tour to Rothenburg. After coming back to Wurzburg we had a tour of the Bishops' Residenz, one of Germany's largest and most ornate palaces and a UNESCP World Heritage Site.
Wurzburg is a town in the Bavarian part of Germany. Art, culture, and Franconian wine are essential part of Wurzburg life.
Rothenburg is the best preserved medieval town in Germany. It has the city wall which connects five medieval gates, complete with guard towers that date from the 13th to 16th centuries. The whole town of Rothenburg is a museum and you can walk the narrow cobblestone streets and admire the Gothic, Renaissance and baroque houses and fountains.
At 6:30 PM the ship left Wurzburg for Hassfurt, Germany.
