Today was the forth day at sea sailing towards Aqaba, Jordan. After breakfast I went to the first part of the talk by Ismat Medhi at 9 AM. She talked on how Petra was the capital city of the Nabateans and was on the trade of incense from South Arabia to North Syria. Tomorrow we will be in Jordan and many people on the ship will visit Petra. I went to good morning Amsterdam at 9:30 AM. Guests were George Geary, Buzz Sutherland and Arabic Ambassador Teresa. At 10:30 AM, the future cruise constultants talked about the "Our World of Cruising" promotion. A large crowd attended because they gave away some really good gifts. At 2 PM Kate Ross talked about the Lost Cities of the Mediterranean, such as Petra, Troy, Carthage and Pompeii.
Tonight before dinner Buzz Sutherland, a comedian gave a 1/2 hour show and after dinner Peter Cutler gave a brand new show. He is a terrific vocalist, accomplished pianist, comedian and tap dancer.
