Day 42 - World Cruise 2015 (Adelaide, Australia)

Monday, February 16, 2015

Today was the second day in the port at Adelaide, Australia.  At 8:30 AM I went on a tour called "Wine Tasting in the Barossa Valley".  The Barossa Valley is Australia's foremost wine producing region.  It is home to around 50 wineries and wine has been made in this region for over 150 years.  We stopped and sampled wine at four of the valley's bontique wineries and had a nice two course lunch with wine at one of the wineries.  The wineries that we visited were Chateau Barrosa, Chareau 1847 Yaldara, Jacob's Creek and Seppeltsfield.  We had dinner at Yaldara.  We got back to the ship at 4:30 PM.

At 5 PM the ship left for the next stop at Albany, Australia.  After dinner the show was put on by Alana Conway.  She sang and played the harp.

Below are some pictures from my second day in Adelaide, Australia.
