Today we were scheduled to stop at Geraldton, Australia. Early in the morning the Captain made the decision not to stop because of the current sea conditions. We are now sailing towards Benoa, Bali, Indonesia. We were scheduled to arrive in Benoa at 4 PM on Thursday the 26th but now we will arrive at about 8 AM. The ship had the broadcast of the 87th Annual Academy Awards in the Queen's Lounge. I missed the first two hours but because their was nothing else to do I attended the rest of the broadcast. The broadcast was live but did not contain any of the advertisements.
At 2 PM, a new Guest Speaker Stephen Sloan presented the changing nature of the international arena and the centrality of violence. He was a professor at Oklahoma University for many years.
After dinner the show was put on by Dan Horn. He is a Stand-up Ventriloquist which has been on The Late Show with David Letterman. He is very good and one of the best Ventriloquist that I have seen.
