This was a full day at sea. I got up went to breakfast. At 9:30 AM I went to Coffee with Gene and Jessica. This used to be called "Good Mourning Amsterdam". Gene Young is the cruise director and Jessica is the Culinary Arts Center Host. Gene was also the cruise director on the 2015 World Cruise. At 11 AM, Barbara Heanni game a talk on "What to See and Do in Santa Marta". Barbara is the Destination Specialist on the ship. Barbara has been on all my World Cruises and had not missed a World Cruise in years. I had a light lunch and at 2 PM, I went to the guest speaker talk on "Empire by Mistake". I tried to get on the ships Internet but it didn't work so I went down to the library. I had some help by the ships IT officer but it still didn't work. I set up an account using the ships computers but it would not work on my Apple Laptop. Tonight was the first Gala Night. This used to be called Formal Night. It began with the "Captain's Welcome Champagne Reception at 4:30 PM. The Captain spoke and introduced the officers on the ship. At 5:30 PM I went to dinner. After dinner, I went to the movie "Snowden" and at 10 PM I went to the show put on by Clint Holmes. Clint is a 3-time Las Vegas Entertainer of the Year.
