Today was the last day at sea before the ship arrives in Osaka, Japan. The sea today was rough in the morning but buy late afternoon it had calmed down. Report thru the night was the waves were 20 to 30 feet high at times. The captain got on at a little past 8 AM and said that the ship had changed course to avoid any damage to the ship and that he had been up since 1 AM and was going to bed to get some sleep. At 10 AM I went to a talk by Mark Lax on
" American Caesar - General Douglas MacArthur in the Pacific". After dinner the show was scheduled to be put on by the Amsterdam Singers and Dancers but the show was cancelled and Spencer Robson, a singer with his second show was the entertainment.
